Bruisyard Country Estate wedding with Gemma & Tom.

Me and Gemma met many years ago when she was a calligrapher and we worked on a styled shoot together and I was over joyed when she asked me to photograph her and Tom’s wedding at The Bruisyard Country Estate in Suffolk. It’s always so incredibly flattering when another wedding supplier wants you to capture their day. It also feels like hanging out with friends :)

Gemma & Tom planned a two day event for their friends and family and I got to capture both days. When you get married at Bruisyard your main wedding party can all get ready on site which meant that I could capture both Gemma & Tom’s prep with their friends and family.

Can we also have a moment for Gemma’s maid of honour because her Labour started the night before the wedding and she stuck the whole thing before giving birth after the wedding. One of my favourite images is them getting ready together while holding hands.

It’s these small or actually big stories that make individual weddings stand out.

Everything about this day was fun and joyful, it was an absolutely baking July day but everyone was in top spirits and I had so much to capture. I loved all the speeches which were heartfelt and funny. We also got an absolutely stunning sunset which we made the most of for some couple photos in the evening.

The party!! Honestly one of the best dancefloors I have had. It was filled all night and I stayed right to the end for this one. Everyone just seemed to have the best time and that’s what it all boils down to.
