Beckenham Place Mansion wedding photography with Meg & Susan.

Beckenham Place Mansion Wedding

I have photographed so many beautiful weddings in 2023 and this was definitely a day filled with so much love and joy. I am also endlessly in love with London weddings and Meg & Susan did an amazing job of relaxed city wedding.

They didn’t want prep covered and if that’s not what you want either then you have full permission to embrace that, it’s why I offer a range of different packages to suit my couples. So I met them and their guests at Beckenham Place Mansion for their ceremony. I loved that they arrived together, I think it’s really important to to do your wedding how you want to do your wedding and not follow traditions that are quite honestly dated but also won’t feel right for everyone.

I really loved working at Beckenham Place Mansion, its a beautiful Georgian Mansion that has stunning views over Beckenham Park. There is so much character to this building and a slightly derelict feel to it which I love. The light in the ceremony room is also wonderful and I loved the flowers created by Rust Bloom, peonies are always a favourite of mine.

The ceremony was personal and emotional, lots of moments for me to capture. We then headed out for confetti which as ever was so much fun and Meg & Susan got a sufficient amount of flower petals for an epic tunnel. We then had drinks in the park before everyone left for the pub. We did take a moment to do some couple photos before following everyone else.

Meg & Susan chose to have their reception at the Lordship Pub in East Dulwich which is a favourite of mine for a London pub wedding venue. Its stunning pub with lots of natural light and AMAZING food. Once again Rust Bloom filled the space with colourful flowers. The afternoon was filled with heartfelt speeches and lots of laughing before the space was cleared for dancing in the evening with their band The Soul Girls.

I loved this wedding and I hope you enjoy the photos.
